Consultant, Software Testing & Quality

For an application to develop properly, it is important that all processes incorporated during the software development are stable and sustainable. As pressure builds up and delivery date approaches closer this often affects the quality of the software. The Software Testing & Quality Consultant will be responsible for the testing use cases and quality.


  • Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.
  • Read all the Business Requirement Documents and understand what needs to be tested.
  • Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.
  • Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects.
  • Test and prove that the software meets major architectural requirements
  • Prove for scalability and performance of a software
  • Prepare file defect reports and report test progress
  • Detect bug issues


  • 1-3 years of experience in Software Testing or similar role
  • Computer Science or Computer Engineering graduate from top university.
  • You love and have a deep understanding of QA
  • You understand the uses and methods of testing
  • 1-3 years of experience in wide range of Open Source Software exposure
  • 1-3 years of experience with mobile applications and location-based services
  • 1-3 years of experience of working in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Fearless – not afraid to suggest or back big ideas however disruptive they may be
  • Excellent knowledge in testing skills (design test plan and test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)
  • Good level in SQL/database
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
